Tour the Sacred Valley of the Inca, Peru

which is a valley in the Andes of Peru, close to the Inca capital of Cusco and below the ancient sacred city of Machu Picchu.

The tour covered Calca, and Ollantaytambo along the Urubamba, that contain numerous archaeological remains and villages. The Urubamba River waters farm land for hundred kinds of potatoes. The latter means in Quechua, the still spoken lingua franca of the Inca Empire the Sacred river.

The valley was gourious, yet i was more intrigered by the last stop chinchero. It is famous for it's colorful textile. A young girl explained and demonstrated how the wool was treated with natural cleanser and dyes, and then weaves into a piece of fabric which would take 2.5 months.

There are five poor families live in chinchero and make their humble living based on the textile and suvernios. The young girl speaks mostly an inca language and does not have chance to receive formal education.

Most of my fellow tourists bought stuffs there to help the family out. I am still thinking of a good way, a broader way to help her family or the like around the world. It sounds aggressive but not impossible. There are so many different approaches for the problem of proverity.
