There are street musicians in major city around the world, especially in city squares, train or bus stations. This is the 1st time I saw some on buses.
People came to live in Medellin for all different reasons. On my way from Medellin to Manizales, the bus was significantly delayed, and I ran into a co-owner of a hostel in Medellin who is going to visit another hostel owner in Manizales. He came from north Carolina and lived here over 3 yrs. Just fell in love with the city and decided to stay, but he would probably stay another 1 yr and then travel to other countries. Each person is free to choose the person's own path if the person gives him or herself the permission, rather than subject to the family, society, or any other self-imposed limitations.
